The bachelor of fine arts in Musical Theater emphasizes rigorous training in the three pillars of musical theater – acting, singing and dancing. The Temple University Musical Theatre program is focused on building well-rounded, versatile ‘triple-threat’ artists who have developed the knowledge, skills and concepts essential to the life of the theater professional.
The students in the BFA in Musical Theater will work alongside MFA students in the graduate program in Musical Theater Collaboration. BFA candidates also benefit from interdisciplinary training in the Boyer College of Music and Dance.
